Town of Rijeka
Although it was known before that in the Old City there are numerous remains of buildings from the Roman times, witnessed by the already discovered beautiful floor mosaics and an exceptionally well preserved stone arch, conservation archaeological works in the space of the former Principia of Alpine Enclosure confirmed that Rijeka with its historical remains from that period can compare favourably with cities such as Split and Pula, where such monuments have been very well preserved.
